The exclusive Zero suspension system represents the most important technological innovation developed by Mondraker. Zero defines itself as a virtual pivot system having the rear shock floating between the two system links, which compress the shock at the same time on both sides. Thanks to the pivots optimum position together with the specific rear shock location, Zero suspension system has clear advantages compared directly to the already existent best rear suspension systems.

Zero offers total pedalling independence, no noticeable chain elongation, no brake jack and an impressive and outstanding bump absorption that make any obstacle to disappear. Besides, its mechanical disposition and conception contribute to this "any kind of impact" excellent absorption; great sensitivity and instant reaction to any circumstance are three of the most important features that any user will feel.
ZERO POWER LOSS
Zero bob when pedalling. Pedalling and suspension forces are perfectly balanced and Zero suspension system prevents any unwanted movement produced when pedalling. The system gets the total balance among all these forces and also the ground impact forces and the force produced by the pressure applied to our seat. You get the maximum efficiency without extra compression or extension of the rear suspension.
ZERO PEDAL KICKBACK
Zero pedal feedback. Chain length growth throughout the suspension travel is insignificant; this is the reason to avoid any backwards movement of the crankset that could lead to a poor efficiency or proper cadence. The track of the rear wheel axle is optimized in a way that the total chain length varies in an insignificant way along the rear shock’s travel, this is translated as a constant riding without losing efficiency and without noticing any pedalling contaminated effect.
ZERO BRAKE INFLUENCE
Zero brake jack. Brake forces do not alter suspension forces; the rear brake does not affect the system stiffening the suspension. This allows the suspension to work naturally and perfectly without any unwanted compression or extension movement regarding the interaction of the rear brake. This way we keep all the gross absorption capacity even with the most abrupt stop or when entering curves where the potholes are accumulated and the rear brake gets a strong pressure.
ZERO BUMPS
Zero bumps. In short, it is the most outstanding feeling of Zero system. The great capacity when facing potholes and the extreme sensitivity during all its travel offer an astonishing and excellent natural absorption that make all kind of impacts to disappear. Zero system is configured to obtain the optimum output by working with a minimum of 30% SAG over the rear shock, being the recommended 35% of SAG, in order to get the most of all its advantages. All the virtues of the system, including the pedalling efficiency, are configured to get these initial adjustment values: 30% to 35% SAG. We will not only get all the performance of the rear suspension but also the pedalling efficiency will be superior.
